Today students were formed into teams to prepare a debate which they will present in class.

Students’ names were pulled out of a hat to create the teams and they then worked together to write out their introduction, points to argue and concluding remarks.

The topics they will argue (FOR and AGAINST) are:

• Junk food should be banned from the school canteen
• Homework is a waste of time
